Entries are invited for a photographic competition “My 5 Lands – People Pets and Places”, to be held as part of this year’s 5 Lands Walk: a physical, cultural and spiritual journey through the beachside communities of Macmasters Beach, Copacabana, Avoca Beach, North Avoca and Terrigal.
Photos must be taken within the 5 Lands during the period 1 to 16 May 2011.
The theme is My 5 Lands—People, Pets and Places.
Entries must be lodged by 23 May 2011.
Each entry must be accompanied by a completed entry form and a $10 entry fee (first entry free for John Ralph’s Camera Warehouse members, additional entries half price – join online www.jrcamerawarehouse.com.au/login.html )
Entries may be submitted in person at Camera House, Fountain Plaza Erina or electronically by emailing to info@jrcamerahouse.com.au and then phoning 4365 2656 to arrange payment (unless you supply a www.jrcamerawarehouse.com.au member username in the form below).
Exhibition and prize giving will take place at # Surf Club at # on 18 June 2011
Conditions of Entry
Entries may only be submitted in digital form. Entry fee of $10 will cover cost of printing, processing and display. One entry per entry form. Maximum Size of any image is A4 – 20cm x 30cm. 5 Lands Walk Inc is granted full rights to use all submitted entries for all purposes of promotion, marketing and display.
Personal details provided may only be used for future communication by 5LW to the entrant for promotional purposes. Name and suburb will be attached to the display of the photo on the 5LW website and exhibition.
Images considered inappropriate by the judges will not be included for judging or display. This will include but not be limited to imagery involving nudity, overt sexuality, criminal behavior, racism and excessive promotion of smoking or alcoholic consumption.
You confirm that all people who are the subjects of photos, have provided their consent to being photographed. This does not include incidental inclusion such as background shots or scenes in public places. The photographer indemnifies the 5LW Inc for any claims in this respect.
Closing date for entries is 23 May 2011
The decision of the judges regarding prize winners or display options is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
